Timbaland to 'Shock' with Beyoncé & Rihanna

Timbaland to 'Shock' with Beyoncé & Rihanna

It's back to the studio for Timbaland – and once again, he's inviting along some friends.

For the sequel to his 2007 hit album Shock Value, the musician-producer, 37, is bringing in heavy-hitting collaborators from across the music world, including Beyoncé, Rihanna and the Jonas Brothers.

"Right now, I have a song with Madonna that I didn't put on her album. I saved [it] in case I wanna do one for me," he told MTV News.

"Of course I'mma do one with Beyoncé. Of course I'mma do one with Jordin Sparks, Rihanna. It's a lot of people. I'mma do one with Jonas Brothers. I'mma try to have 10 major ones."

He'll also incorporate rappers into his lineup, he says. T. Pain has signed on, while T.I. and Jay-Z may also make appearances.

"Jay was really on the last one, but he wanted to change [the song]," he said. "I said, 'Look, man, I gotta put out an album. You're killing me.' "

Britney Spears News

First off, last weekend at the VMAs, Timbaland mentioned how Britney may want to make a collabo with Justin Timberlake. Well, look what happened:

MTV NEWS

Say what you will about the outcome, Britney Spears' VMA performance was one of the most-anticipated ones in years. But think how much bigger it would have been had it been billed as Spears taking the stage with former flame Justin Timberlake to perform together. Huge, right? Well, Timbaland, who claims to have nearly collaborated with the singer in the past, says Brit has quashed any chance of a JT collabo taking place anytime soon.

The super-producer told MTV News during VMA weekend that a prospective team-up between the two would be "the best thing that ever happened" and would "help her out a whole lot." But he then dismissed the possibility, saying in so many words that Brit has become big-headed and had dissed him and Justin. "It'll never happen. Nah. It could've, but it won't."

Timbo's advice to Britney about getting her career back on track. "She needs a story," he said. "She has no comeback story. That's the problem. She has to have a team. She needs to come back with Justin doing records; [then we'd see headlines like,] 'She went back to her ex and she's making smashes.' [But instead she got] so big-headed and [was] like, 'Screw you, screw you, I don't need nobody.' "

So is there any chance for Spears to rectify the situation and possibly work with Timberlake and Timbaland? Yes, says the super-producer - if she apologizes.

"She should humble herself and make a phone call and say, 'I'm sorry.' She knows what she's sorry about," Tim said. "She needs to say, 'I was wrong,' and it'll definitely move forward. ... That's all she has to say."

In other news, despite speculation, Britney Spears will not perform, or even attend, the Emmy's this Sunday.
Some good news with Ms. Spears is that here single, Gimme More, will be released on iTunes on October 2nd. Can't wait to see how many people buy it!

22 Songs From The VMA's Including - Shut Up and Drive (Full!) & The Finale (Do It, The Way I Are, LoveStoned & Give It To Me Medley) [HQ!]

So, when I had my VMA megapost, I listed The Finale as one of the songs. However, it was not the best quality, and therefore, I now have the HQ version of it. Nelly Furtado, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, D.O.E., and Keri Hilson perform Do It, The Way I Are, LoveStoned & Give It To Me Medley.

Also, below The Finale, there are 21 MORE songs from The VMA's, not all from the main show, but from side shows, but all for the one event. Please credit me if used in other places. Enjoy!
